A 1980s tile-and-laminate kitchen reborn in soft coastal whites - quartz counters, brass hardware, and an open sightline to the Intracoastal.
The owners had a 1980s kitchen with original tile floors, dark oak cabinets, and laminate counters. The kitchen opened to the lanai with a view of the Intracoastal, but the design felt heavy and dated against the bright coastal setting outside.
We kept the existing floor plan but stripped everything else. Custom shaker cabinetry in Sherwin-Williams Alabaster. Quartz counters with soft veining. Brushed brass hardware throughout. Replaced the tile floor with wide-plank engineered oak in a whitewashed tone. Added a coffee bar nook in the former pantry corner.
Local cabinet shop, hand-painted in Sherwin-Williams Alabaster. Full-overlay doors. Soft-close drawers throughout.
3cm Caesarstone Statuario Maximus on perimeter and island. Subtle veining keeps the coastal feel.
30 inch Thermador panel-ready refrigerator, 36 inch Thermador induction range, Thermador dishwasher with handle-free door, microwave drawer.
Brizo Litze pulldown faucet, prep sink at island, glass rinser, pot filler over the range.
7 inch wide-plank engineered hardwood in a whitewashed European oak finish.
Three Schoolhouse Electric oversized pendants over the island. Lutron Caseta dimmer scenes.
We wanted a kitchen that felt as bright as the water outside. MSA Premier nailed it - every morning feels like vacation now. Sarah ReynoldsBoca Raton, FL - Kitchen Remodel
