The master bathroom hadn't been touched since 1995 - a builder-grade jetted tub crammed against the window, a standalone fiberglass shower stall, original tile floors, and a single 36 inch vanity. The space felt small even though it had a respectable footprint. The owners wanted to age in place comfortably without an institutional feel.
We removed the jetted tub and reworked the plumbing to install a freestanding stone-resin soaking tub centered on the window. Built a frameless walk-in shower (curbless, with linear drain) where the fiberglass stall used to be. Slab marble on shower walls. Heated porcelain floors throughout. Custom dual-sink floating vanity. Mood lighting on Lutron scenes.
